Using e-portfolios

1 of 3

What is an e-portfolio?

E-portfolios provide an online space to store evidence of achievement and make it available to others. They can be used to gather together documents and make them available to:

  • An assessor, such as someone assessing 21204 - Your e-portfolio would need to include evidence which shows clearly how you have met the course outcomes and assessment criteria.
  • A wider audience, such as prospective employers or your professional peers - Your e-portfolio would provide evidence of your professional development and expertise.

Most e-portfolio systems also provide a tool such as a learning journal for recording your own reflections on your professional practice.
